We are a community-based organization focused on helping make our community a better, happier place. We provide nutritious meals to seniors via Meals On Wheels and to all in our community via our dining room. We organize fundraisers, and exciting community events, and in-depth training sessions for our volunteers. Join us for exercise classes, cards, painting and more.
Are you passionate about what we're doing? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join the team!
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
To promote the dignity and independence of older adults, persons with disabilities, and homebound persons by delivering nutritious meals, daily checks and social contact. To enable the homebound to remain in their homes for as long as possible. To reduce individual isolation and enhance quality of life through positive social interactions at the center which provides in-center meals, social and physical activities and health education in the Heber-Overgaard Community."
Did you know our Meals on Wheels (MOW) program at the Rim Country Senior Center does much more than offer nutritious meals to your neighbors? Quite often our volunteer drivers also conduct welfare checks, deliver blankets, turn on the gas and even complete needed minor repairs. In addition, sometimes our drivers are the only outside contact our MOW recipients have each day.
We have been serving the Heber-Overgaard community for 40 years.
Our staff is comprised of experienced and caring individuals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our community members. We ensure that all of our staff members are trained to provide the best possible care.
